Privacy Policy

This policy explains, in plain language, what personal data Estiq collects, how we use it, and the choices and rights you have. If anything is unclear, contact us using the details at the end.

Who we are

Estiq is an independent product, built and operated from Singapore by a solo developer. We provide an AI assistant that helps real estate professionals capture leads and draft replies. We are committed to handling personal data in line with Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA).

Two kinds of data, two roles

Estiq handles two kinds of personal data, and our responsibilities differ for each:

  • Your account data: the information you give us about yourself (your name, email, agency, and contact details). For this, Estiq is the organisation responsible for the data.
  • Your clients' data: the lead and enquiry details you bring into Estiq (for example, a prospective buyer's name, phone number, and property requirements). Here you are the party responsible for that data, and Estiq processes it on your behalf and on your instructions, as a data intermediary. You confirm you are allowed to share it with us (see our Terms).

Information we collect

  • Account and application details: name, email, agency, years of experience, phone or Telegram handle, and anything you write in your application or account.
  • Authentication data: handled by our sign-in provider, including your email and any social-login identifiers.
  • Lead and message content: the client enquiries you forward or that reach Estiq through a connected channel (for example, Telegram), and the structured lead records created from them.
  • Usage data: basic logs needed to run and secure the service.

How we use it

We do not sell your data, and we do not use your data, or your clients' data, to train AI models.

  • To provide the service: capturing leads, extracting requirements, drafting replies, and keeping your lead list.
  • To manage your account and communicate with you about the pilot.
  • To keep the service secure, debug issues, and improve how it works.

AI processing

Estiq uses third-party AI (Anthropic's Claude API) to read enquiries and draft replies. Content is sent to that provider only to perform these tasks, and is not used by us or by the provider to train AI models. Estiq assists you; it does not make automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects on anyone.

Who we share it with

We share data only with the service providers needed to run Estiq, each under its own data-protection terms:

  • Anthropic: AI processing (reading enquiries, drafting replies).
  • Railway: application hosting and database.
  • Clerk: sign-in and account authentication.
  • Telegram: where you connect a Telegram chat as a lead channel.

Where your data is stored

Some of these providers process data outside Singapore (for example, in the United States). Where data is transferred overseas, we rely on those providers' contractual and technical protections to keep it safe, consistent with the PDPA's transfer-limitation requirement.

How long we keep it

We keep personal data for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterwards, then delete or anonymise it. You can ask us to delete your data sooner (see Your rights).

Your rights

Under the PDPA you can ask us to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Correct it if it is wrong or incomplete.
  • Export a copy of your data.
  • Delete your account and the data associated with it.
  • Withdraw consent for uses that rely on it.

Security

We protect data with measures including encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS), access controls that limit who can reach it, and logical separation so each account's data is isolated from others. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information and to improve our safeguards over time.

Data breaches

If a data breach occurs that is likely to cause significant harm or affects a significant number of people, we will notify the Personal Data Protection Commission and affected individuals as required by the PDPA.

Cookies

We use only the cookies needed to keep you signed in (set by our authentication provider). We do not use advertising cookies.

Changes to this policy

Estiq is early and evolving, so we may update this policy. We will post the new version here and update the date above; significant changes will be communicated to pilot agents.
